Description
Final piece for my art project 'Food and Drink' done in acrylic on A2 paper.
The top half of the picture was based on Rene Magritte's picture 'Son of Man' and others including clouds and floating objects. The bottom half was done in the style of Käthe Kollwitz using reference to her piece called 'The Survivors' and Pure Evil's well known trade mark style of a drip running off the canvas.
The faded skulls were done in potato prints.
The influence of fast food and greed contrasting with the sorrowful plight of the starving children around the world.
